The role

We are looking for a Sourcing & Merchandising Executive to manage end-to-end sourcing and merchandising of women’s garments. The role involves identifying market-ready styles, building reliable vendor relationships, and ensuring commercially viable product selections aligned with brand aesthetics, pricing, and margin targets. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in market sourcing, product selection, and execution, with a strong understanding of trends, fabrics, and commercial performance.

What you will do

Sourcing: source women’s garments from key apparel markets in India.
Identify trend-relevant styles, fabrics, colors, and embellishments aligned with brand positioning.
Onboard and manage vendor relationships, including price negotiations, MOQs, and delivery timelines.
Coordinate sampling, approvals, and revisions to meet quality and design standards.
Monitor vendor performance with respect to quality, timelines, and consistency.
Merchandising: execute product selection, assortment planning, and range building across categories.
Ensure an optimal size, color, and price mix aligned with sales strategy.
Ensure target margins and pricing benchmarks are achieved.
Coordinate with inventory, operations, and marketing teams to support timely launches and stock readiness.

What we are looking for

Graduate or diploma in Fashion, Textiles, Merchandising, or a related field.
1–4 years of experience in women’s apparel sourcing and/or merchandising.
Strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, fits, and embellishments.
Proven ability to negotiate pricing and manage vendors.
Willingness to travel frequently for market sourcing.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in ethnic and occasion wear (lehenga, saree, gowns, fusion wear) is preferred.
Exposure to wholesale, fast-fashion, or multi-category apparel businesses is preferred.
Commercial understanding of pricing, margins, and inventory planning is preferred.
